Author: Miray Philips

Miray is a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University of Minnesota and a Visiting Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies. Her dissertation research is on representations of and politics towards Middle East Christians, specifically Copts, in Washington DC. Miray was born in Egypt, raised in Kuwait, and now lives in the United States between Minnesota and Washington DC.
